🔥Description🔥
The XINYOU XY-2835 sponge filter offers gentle yet effective filtration by combining an air-lift system with a foam sponge medium. It performs both mechanical and biological filtration, allowing beneficial bacteria to colonize the sponge while trapping debris.
Especially designed for silent operation, it's well-suited as a breeding filter, shrimp tank filter, or secondary filtration unit in larger systems. Its compact cylindrical form allows installation in tight spaces or alongside other equipment.
Use it with an air pump and airline tubing to maintain constant oxygenation. As water is drawn through the sponge, it gets purified, and the cleaned water is recirculated gently back into the tank.
